Abstract

CCTV (Circuit Television System) is the standard of security with modern technology that should be owned by companies, mini market or housing, because of the presence of CCTV will add safety and comfort. Not all the users know how to repair the damaged CCTV because of the lack of knowledge on these tools. Therefore we need to build an expert system-based application that has the knowledge to help and solve these problems quickly so that customers can repair it by themselves. The Forward Chaining Method is the expert-system that will be used in this Method. Programming language that is applied in the development of such applications is the programming language PHP and MySQL database that is easily accessible system for computer users. Results showed that the application of expert systems can help users to find solutions and increase knowledge on such damages. The conclusion that can be drawn is through this application, computer users can consult the appropriate system in direct consultation with an expert to detect any damages that occurs in the CCTV cameras as well as finding solutions to the problems that the users facing.
